CONTEXT
Leah (formerly ContractPodAi) is a leader in AI-powered legal technology, helping enterprises manage contracts and legal workflows at scale. The platform handles sensitive legal documents, complex approval workflows, and AI-driven document analysis.
THE CHALLENGE
Enterprise legal software demands a high bar for reliability, accessibility, and user experience. Legal professionals need interfaces that are intuitive despite the underlying complexity of contract lifecycle management.
MY ROLE
Joined as a frontend developer working remotely from India. Promoted to Senior Developer in September 2026 for sustained impact on the product. Now driving frontend architecture decisions and contributing to building and maintaining user-facing features across the platform.
- Developing new UI components for contract management workflows
- Ensuring accessibility compliance for enterprise clients
- Collaborating with distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Working with TypeScript and Vue.js in a large-scale application
TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT
Working in an enterprise context has deepened my understanding of large-scale development.
Large-Scale Vue Applications
Navigating and contributing to a mature codebase with established patterns
TypeScript in Practice
Strict typing across a complex domain model (contracts, clauses, approvals, users, roles)
Enterprise UI Patterns
Form-heavy interfaces, data tables, complex state management, role-based UI rendering
Remote Collaboration
Asynchronous communication, clear documentation, and self-directed work across time zones
CURRENT FOCUS
Contributing to features that improve the contract management experience while learning from a team working on legal AI at enterprise scale. The role gives me exposure to large-codebase practices that complement my earlier startup and agency experience.
LEARNINGS
- Enterprise development requires thinking about edge cases and error states that startup development often defers
- Large codebases reward consistent patterns; the cost of inconsistency compounds over time
- Remote work at scale requires proactive communication and thorough documentation
- AI-integrated products need UI patterns that build trust, so users can understand and verify AI outputs
